Why We Built Cleenlift

Cleaning—especially laundry—is one of those essential services that, despite being universal, rarely gets the technology treatment it deserves. Customers have no visibility into what happens to their items after pickup. Vendors and washmen rely on phone calls and handshakes to manage orders. Payments are opaque. There's no accountability and no easy way to build reputation.We wanted to change that — to build a platform where every stage of the cleaning lifecycle is visible, every payment is tracked, and every service provider has the tools to run a professional operation. One platform that lifts the entire experience for everyone involved.

The Story Behind Cleenlift

Cleenlift began with one frustrating moment in school, in 2021: a missing laundry item that only got noticed because it was a choir uniform needed for church the next day. That single miss revealed a bigger, everyday problem — laundry records were mostly trust-based, hard to audit, and painful to reconcile when anything went wrong.So the idea became clear: make laundry visible like data. Track the exact submitted items. Keep searchable records. Add snapshots to settle disagreements with evidence. Then track each stage of the order lifecycle clearly, from pickup to delivery.The initial version was built for a single personally owned laundry shop near school. But while building it, the vision expanded: not just one shop, but a platform where multiple vendors and washmen can serve customers transparently, earn trust through reviews, and run better operations.

Vendors manage their teams and earnings from a dedicated dashboard. Every status change is tracked in real time with live notifications, and payments flow through a transparent in-app wallet.
