Welcome to Cleenlift. These terms outline the rules and expectations for using our platform — designed to lift the standard of cleening services for everyone involved.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any Cleenlift application (customer, vendor, washman, or admin), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Platform Overview

Cleenlift is a cleaning-services marketplace that connects customers seeking cleaning services with verified vendors and professional washmen. We provide the technology platform — we are not a cleaning service provider ourselves.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. Each user may hold only one account per role. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Roles & Responsibilities

  • Customers schedule orders, confirm item details, and pay via the in-app wallet or supported payment methods.
  • Vendors undergo identity verification before accepting orders, manage incoming orders, and set their service catalogue.
  • Washmen undergo identity verification before starting work, accept assigned jobs, and update order statuses through the order lifecycle.

5. Orders & Payments

Order costs are computed based on item type, service type, preference add-ons, urgency surcharges, and delivery distance. All pricing is displayed transparently during scheduling. Payments are processed through the in-app wallet; top-ups are handled by our payment partner (Paystack). Cleenlift is not responsible for cash transactions conducted outside the platform.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Orders may be cancelled before the washman collects the items. Once picked up, cancellation is subject to a partial charge to compensate the washman and vendor for time and resources. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and processed within 7 business days.

7. Verification & Trust

Vendors and washmen must complete identity verification before accepting orders. Cleenlift reserves the right to suspend or ban any user whose identity cannot be verified, or who engages in fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise harmful behaviour.

8. Ratings & Reviews

After each completed order, customers can rate and review their washman. Reviews must be honest and based on the actual service experience. Cleenlift reserves the right to remove reviews that contain abusive language, spam, or demonstrably false claims.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Cleenlift platform — including the name, logo, UI design, and underlying source code — is the intellectual property of Cleenlift. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Cleenlift provides the platform "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cleenlift is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss or damage to items.

11. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification and email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or, failing that, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
