1. Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo. During order scheduling we store your pickup and delivery addresses (which may include GPS coordinates obtained via Google Maps). We also process financial data — wallet balances, top-up amounts, and transaction records — to facilitate in-app payments. Additionally, usage data (device type, browser, pages visited, timestamps) is collected automatically to improve platform performance.2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to operate the platform: matching you with vendors and washmen, computing delivery distances and costs via the Google Maps API, processing wallet transactions, sending order-status notifications and verification emails, and compiling aggregate analytics to improve the service. We never sell your personal information to third parties.3. Identity Verification
Vendors and washmen submit identity documents during onboarding. These documents are reviewed by our admin team and stored securely. They are used solely for verification purposes and are never shared externally.4. Data Sharing
We share limited data with third-party services essential to the platform: payment processors (Paystack) for wallet top-ups, email providers (Mailgun) for transactional mail, cloud storage (Cloudinary) for profile images and item snapshots, and Google Maps for distance calculations. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and receives only the minimum data required.5. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Order history and transaction records are kept indefinitely for auditing and dispute resolution. If you delete your account, personal identifiers are anonymised within 30 days; aggregated analytics data may be retained longer in non-identifiable form.6. Security
All traffic is encrypted via TLS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. JWT tokens are used for session management with short-lived access tokens and rotatable refresh tokens. Our five-layer guard chain (JWT verification, email verification, identity verification, role enforcement, and rate limiting) protects every API endpoint.7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use HTTP-only cookies for authentication tokens and local storage to persist user preferences such as theme mode. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.8. Your Rights
You can view or update your personal information from your account settings at any time. To request a full account deletion, contact us at support@cleenlift.com. We will respond to all requests within 14 business days.9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification and email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
